Responsibilities

The Regional Director is responsible for establishing and developing relationships with members, educating them about our services, and guiding them towards the best decisions. He/she is agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch member experiences. ​The ideal candidate has exceptional industry know-how and network. This role reports to the Head of International Development.

Main tasks & duties:

  • Foster and develop good relationships with members so Qorus can maximize the value of those relationships ​via on-demand-services
  • Client acquisition and reactivation – a part of the role will be to secure new business and find ways to reactivate dormant or lapsed clients
  • Identify key contacts at both existing and potential members companies to establish new relationships ​
  • Regularly (e-)meet with our members to explain services to guide their choices
  • Understand the problems and challenges of members and identify ways Qorus could better address those needs ​
  • Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing members
  • Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally ​
  • Set revenue targets and develop and execute a strategy to meet them ​
  • Community management (e.g. organize small local networking events both offline and online, connect members from the region)
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, members, partnerships, products/services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Cooperate with Senior Advisors to identify local challenges
  • Provide excellent service to maintain a positive reputation of Qorus
  • Reporting, working with CRM (HubSpot) system daily
  • Attend industry events both as an attendee and as a presenter (where reasonable)
  • Travel required 25% of the time (if COVID-19 permits)

Your Profile

  • Strategic professional possessing deep industry knowledge (e.g. former senior banking/insurance role, a consultant from the financial industry, former sales/ relationship manager for financial institutions)
  • Experienced in client relations with a demonstrated track record 
  • Having a personal network of professionals from FIs in selected regions 
  • Excellent communicator, emphatic, with great listening, presentation, and negotiating skills
  • Able to work effectively in global, multiple team environments 
  • A proactive person with a can-do attitude, able to multitask and prioritize 
  • Sound project management and organizational skills
  • Able to work with basic office suits like MS Office 365, CRM, Outlook, and other cloud solutions ​
