Banca Sella, in partnership with HDI Assicurazioni, has launched a new health insurance product designed for individuals and microenterprises. This solution integrates advanced digital services focused on health prevention and personalized care, responding to growing demands for accessible healthcare and prevention tools.
The policy covers up to 10 people, who don’t need to belong to the same family, and is suitable for businesses to protect their employees. A key feature is the "care manager," a service that provides socio-assistance counseling through digital channels in cases of illness or injury. This care manager assesses medical needs and helps access services, including support for elderly relatives that insured individuals may need to care for.
The offering includes two apps, "MyAssistance" and "MyClinic." These allow users to book medical appointments, access 24/7 video consultations with doctors, store medical records digitally in a personal health folder, and track the status of reimbursement claims.
Beyond the usual financial protection against illness or injury, the policy also promotes prevention. Every adult policyholder can receive a full health check-up every two years. For entrepreneurs, the policy provides a daily allowance in case of work interruptions due to illness or injury, helping to supplement income.
Giorgio De Donno, Deputy General Manager and Vice CEO of Banca Sella, said, "People are increasingly aware of the importance of health and prevention. It’s crucial to offer solutions that improve quality of life and reduce healthcare costs. With this new initiative, we provide families and entrepreneurs with tools to take an active role in managing their health."
Tommaso Di Gennaro, Deputy General Manager and Commercial Director of HDI Assicurazioni, added, "Supporting clients in both personal and professional areas is a key role for any insurance provider. The Health & Prevention program simplifies and accelerates care management through digital tools, offering valuable support in times of need."
This new product reflects the growing integration of digital services in healthcare, empowering individuals and businesses with greater control and support over their well-being.
