NAB expands Saturday branch openings to better serve customers

02/02/2025 News

NAB is making banking more convenient by expanding its Saturday branch openings. Following a successful trial in November 2024, the bank has added 17 more branches to its Saturday trading list, bringing the total to 29. This expansion comes in response to strong customer feedback, emphasizing the importance of face-to-face banking despite the rise of digital transactions.

Enhancing customer access with more ATMs

In addition to extended branch hours, NAB is installing 39 new ATMs across its network. These new machines are strategically placed in high-demand locations to meet customer needs for cash services. This move aligns with NAB’s commitment to providing flexible and accessible banking solutions for all customers.

Balancing digital and in-person banking

While online banking dominates, NAB recognizes that face-to-face service remains essential. Paul Carter, NAB’s Executive for Personal Bank, highlighted the bank’s evolving approach: “NAB’s Personal Bank is changing, and while we know digital banking is by far the most popular way people transact, in-person service will never go out of style.”

Carter also emphasized that Saturday trading complements the bank’s recent $41 million investment in branch renovations. By extending hours and improving branch facilities, NAB aims to accommodate customers' busy schedules and enhance overall banking experiences.

Convenient banking designed for customers

NAB’s customer-first approach ensures that banking fits into people’s lives, not the other way around. Whether managing finances online or visiting a branch in person, NAB continues to evolve, offering the flexibility and services customers need when they need them.
