Agricultural segment has had a special place in many financial institutions‘ strategy as it significant contributor to many economies, providing food, jobs, and exports, and plays a crucial role in reducing poverty and increasing economic growth. Eventhough there’s been a number of attempts to include it into SME Banking, it deserves special attention and care. Especially these days and in the near future. None of the industry has been as impacted with recent crisis as Agri segment. Climate change, inflation, war in Ukraine or supply chain crisis are the most impactful ones, but there are far more factors influencing agricultural business and through transiion risk a financial services sector as well. This online session will gather global leaders of FSI to highlight best practices and reveal the plans of near future in Agribanking. The online session will open a summer season dedicated to interview series and a research paper on Agribanking trends and best practices to be published in Q3/ 2023.
