OnMyWay Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards 2019 - Winner

The starting point of this new product is for once not the risk but the development of our customer new habits. While willing to develop our business, mobility appeared as an area moving and transforming rapidly, creating new sales opportunity. The approach that we deliberately have taken is to address the customer in his new way of moving from A to B: less individual car, push for public transportation, and more bike or scooter usage, renting of personal belongings, increasing use eco-mobility devices... We have bet on the development of this new ways of traveling in everyday use and thought the offer as an answer to new customer protection needs due to new customer habits. We moved out of "what are the risks" but keeping in mind "what is already covered" so that we would imagine the best tailored solution for our customer, unique to this innovating mobility habits and customer uses - not redundant or repackaging existing coverages. OnMyWay covers users of urban mobility in their daily travels, in the event of physical injury following a fall, an accident or damages caused to others. We offer reimbursement of medical expenses, payment of a lump sum in the event of incapacity or death and, as an option, a Civil Liability cover combined with criminal defense and recourse following an accident. OnMyWay covers these users in their daily urban travels: from work to home, home to school or for leisure, even if the insured changes alternative mode of transport several times along the way.
