Quatru is an innovative digital platform designed to transform the entire real estate experience into a centralized, self-service focused ecosystem. Created by Banco BPI in partnership with Deloitte, the project emerged from the recognition of the extremely fragmented nature of the portuguese housing market and the need to replace Banco BPI´s increasingly obsolete real estate platform, BPI Expresso Imobiliário, with a future-ready solution that aligns with the expectations of today’s digitally savvy customers. Quatru responds to this by offering a single, integrated space where users can search for homes, simulate credit and purchasing power, obtain real-time mortgage pre-approvals, and access a marketplace for furniture, insurance, home maintenance, among others. Technology and innovation played a crucial role in the platform´s development. APIs enable online real-time credit simulators, allowing users to initiate credit applications according to in real time market rates and follow this process all the way up to the mortgage proposal stage, the same applies to affordability simulators, which give the user a realistic view of their purchasing power to help filter listings. Geolocation technology allows users to draw custom zones for property searches while augmented reality technology allows for 360º virtual tours. Users can also manage home assets and documents and access a home-related marketplace with exclusive discounts on a variety of products and services for the home. This marketplace is built through partnerships with trusted providers across different sectors, including utilities, telecommunications, home improvement, decor, household essentials, and more, ensuring convenience and affordability.
