Innovation presentation
It is an incremental innovation that improves customer experience and increases operational efficiency in line with VakıfBank's digital transformation vision. Traditionally manual identity verification and document approval processes were digitized to improve both customer and employee experience. The project stands out with its customer-oriented design, approach that supports sustainability, and digital infrastructure that complies with legislation. At the same time, it reduces the need for physical archives, reduces resource consumption and lightens the workload of employees. Rather than a radical transformation, this project brings permanent and meaningful improvements to banking transactions and is in strong alignment with VakıfBank's digital and innovative positioning. Before the project was launched, branch employees used to print out receipts, forms, contracts and documents and submit them for the wet signature of our customers. The documents approved with wet signature were scanned and digitized and stored in physical archives. With this project, a tablet application was implemented in front of the counter. This application enables digital approval of documents required to be received from customers from a tablet or mobile application instead of a wet signature. After customers give digital approval, the documents related to the transaction are automatically transferred to digital media without printing. Both customers can view these documents digitally via VakıfBank Mobile and internet banking and our branch employees can view these documents digitally via their systems. Our Digital Approval with Front Desk Tablet project aims to make branch transactions safer, faster and in line with today's conditions. While improving our customers' experience in banking transactions, our project reduced the time spent by employees on business processes, allowing them to spend more time with their customers and focus more on sales and marketing activities. In addition, this project, which reduces the consumption of consumables, demonstrates how much VakıfBank has adopted a sustainable banking approach.
