RAK Telemetry is RAKBANK’s first fully internal, real-time dashboard suite, created to provide a consolidated, 360-degree view of data across key operational and business areas. Its core objective is to unify fragmented data sources into a single, interactive platform—enabling faster, smarter decision-making, real-time monitoring, and reduced turnaround times. The platform supports critical functions including digital onboarding, transaction tracking, service requests, and IT operations monitoring. This initiative was driven by the inefficiencies of siloed departments, manual processes, and delayed responses caused by disjointed systems. These gaps led to high turnaround times, limited visibility, and inconsistent reporting. RAK Telemetry was developed as a scalable, in- house solution to proactively address these challenges—enhancing customer experience, improving internal collaboration, and significantly reducing TAT. What sets RAK Telemetry apart is its complete independence from external vendors. While competitors often rely on expensive third-party tools, RAK Telemetry was developed internally at zero cost and replaces multiple legacy systems with a single, adaptable platform. Its end-to-end visibility across departments and real-time adaptability mark a clear distinction from other solutions both within the bank and across the industry.

Originally inspired by a need to simplify tracking for retail onboarding journeys, it has evolved into a strategic asset—powering over 35 dashboards, enabling proactive decision- making, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Departments involved include IT – Application Services, IT Operations, Operations, Retail Banking, BBG, and senior management. Results include reduced onboarding and ticket resolution times, secure handling of high- value transactions, stronger cross-functional alignment, and measurable gains in efficiency and productivity.
