Innovation presentation

Home Care Service is Generali’s innovative response to population ageing and the growing needs of fragile individuals and caregivers. The concept combines a multidimensional assessment, a personalized care plan, and a flexible mix of home‑based and remote services, activated even without an accident or illness. The project was created to address two major gaps: the rise in non‑self‑sufficiency and the lack of clear, coordinated support for families. In a market where services are often fragmented or event‑triggered, Generali stands out with a service‑first, modular model and an expanded target including caregivers themselves. Inspired by integrated care best practices, the initiative relies on a strong ecosystem of partners—such as ItaliAssistenza—and a national network of healthcare and social‑care professionals. It is supported by cross‑functional teams spanning Operations, Medical Management, Innovation, and Customer Care. Early results show a scalable nationwide model, thousands of interventions delivered, and tangible improvements in caregiver empowerment, patient safety, and overall wellbeing.
