On May 23, 2024, the Qorus ESG Community organized an online coffee entitled "Technology-driven sustainable synergy: Maximizing the impact of green finance and IT solutions". On this occasion, Paolo Barbesino hosted Thibaut Nivelles, Founder of Setle, and Peter van Hees, Innovation Manager of the Ecosystems team at KBC. They discussed their successful collaboration to promote sustainable home renovations.

Setle is a startup dedicated to assisting homeowners in making informed decisions throughout the renovation process. Renovating a house to enhance its sustainability can be daunting, as it's often difficult to estimate the costs and the potential savings. To address this lack of transparency in the mortgage process, Setle and KBC have developed a solution that streamlines the digital experience and provides accurate, real-time insights. This innovation helps customers align their renovation projects with European sustainability goals.

They did a demo of this impressive mobile solution, showcasing its potential to revolutionize sustainable home renovations.
