Revolut has unveiled two new NBA-themed payment cards, expanding its collaboration with the basketball league. The global financial app, which has over 60 million users worldwide and more than 5 million in France, is deepening its connection with sports fans through this latest initiative.
Designs inspired by the court and the ball
The first card, made of metal, is designed with premium finishes inspired by the textures and layout of a professional basketball court. Available only to Metal and Ultra plan holders, it costs €59.99. The second card, a lighter plastic version priced at €19.99, features a graphic motif inspired by the iconic basketball and is accessible to all Revolut customers regardless of their plan.
Both cards can be ordered directly via the Revolut app and will be available in the UK and most countries in the European Economic Area, including France, from July 1.
A growing partnership beyond payments
Revolut’s partnership with the NBA began with its role as Naming Partner of the NBA Paris Game 2024 and will continue with the NBA Paris Games 2025 and the inaugural NBA Paris Jam in 2025.
“Combining the global energy of basketball with Revolut’s goal to offer culturally relevant experiences makes sense,” said Deborah Wajsbrot, Head of Partnerships at Revolut. “These co-branded cards celebrate fans’ passion while highlighting Revolut’s premium design and innovation.”
David Brody, Vice President of Global Partnerships at the NBA, added that the cards offer fans “an original and creative way to show their passion,” reflecting Revolut’s commitment to engaging Europe’s basketball community in innovative ways.
This launch underscores Revolut’s broader strategy to blend banking with lifestyle and sports, creating tangible connections that go beyond digital finance.
