In 2023, CaixaBank Volunteering made a profound impact by organizing 3,604 activities benefiting 34,095 elderly individuals across Spain. With 2,662 volunteers and 276 local social organizations, the initiative aimed to address the needs of vulnerable groups.

Activities were strategically focused on accompaniment for the elderly, education, environmental conservation, and digitalization. Volunteers facilitated cultural outings, crafts, and sports events, fostering engagement and social interaction among seniors.

In senior citizen centers, volunteers organized workshops and activities like crafts and shared reading sessions, promoting creativity and mental stimulation. Financial education workshops equipped over 1,500 seniors with essential skills for managing personal finances responsibly.

Recognizing the importance of technology, volunteers provided computer literacy training, enhancing seniors' connectivity and access to information. Environmental conservation initiatives instilled stewardship values, encouraging participation in preserving plant and animal life.

CaixaBank Social Action introduced the Full of Life program, promoting personal development for elderly individuals in depopulated areas. Through workshops and group activities, the program empowered seniors to lead active and fulfilling lives.
