1. VULNERABLE TIMES Humanity is rapidly aging, even faster than ever before. Demographic transition, based on the shift from higher to lower levels of fertility and mortality yields a period of rapid population increase and a larger older population across the world. Already, 868 millions of people are over 60 – that’s nearly 12% global population.
And predictions are not far better; there is no place for enthusiasm.
In the USA and Europe, 20% of the population will be over 65 by 2030, while in Asia, this figure will be 18%. More developed countries have completed this transition but less and least developed countries are in the early stages but starting to grow. Spain is the in Top 20 with a 21% People over 65 years in 2025.
Living longer does not always mean living in good conditions. Based on the Wellbeing Measurement from the OECD and the United Nations (2024), age is the strongest known risk factor for neurodegenerative diseases, showing statistically the stronger correlation.

2. MYBOX VIDACARE 2.1 COVERAGE As a true pioneering milestone in life insurance sector worldwide, MyBox VidaCare is the first insurance designed by & for seniors to cover integrally the loss of autonomy caused by neurodegenerative diseases.
MyBox VidaCare offers protection to customers aged between 60 and 75 years who are interested in protecting themselves and their families against neurodegenerative diseases, providing coverage up to the age of 90, ensuring the physical, mental, and economic well-being of the individual. The novel coverage is as follows:
1. Death Benefit: During the first 3 years, the capital is equal to the premium paid. 2. Neurodegenerative Disease Benefit: 50k€ if a lack of autonomy due to a covered neurodegenerative disease is detected through standardized tests. 3. Survival Benefit for Neurodegenerative Disease: 50 k€ if the insured survives the third year after qualifying for the neurodegenerative disease benefit. 4. General Survival Benefit: 20k€ if the insured reaches the age of 90 without developing any covered neurodegenerative disease.
The neurodegenerative diseases that have been covered are Alzheimer's disease and dementia, Parkinson's disease and other irreversible secondary parkinsonian syndromes, ALS, and multiple sclerosis.
