Concept Our online lives leave a trail of important information. All of it should be completely safe. The problem is, it isn’t! Email accounts, usernames, account details, bank details for online shopping and passport numbers can be at risk. That’s where Blink CyberScan comes in. Blink Parametric is a market leader in parametric insurance solutions specialising in a real-time flight disruption solution to assist travellers when flights are delayed/cancelled. The company recognised the opportunity to expand its product suite by repositioning an effective data protection solution within its portfolio to develop new international markets for a cyber solution and offer its insurance partners an add-on security feature for travellers.
How it works Our sophisticated tools constantly monitor websites, and dark net communities, and alert customers instantly when registered data is compromised. We run our checks all day, every day to make sure they stay in the know. And in control. Providing an action plan to help stop the spread of compromised online information and help put things right when customers need assistance.
Objectives Blink CyberScan adds tangible value to Insurer product offerings in a busy marketplace, as it: • Reinforces trust and safety protection measures within Insurer partner policies • Provides tangible and proactive risk management to policy holders (CyberScan clients) • Quantifies the potential financial loss avoided by compromised cyber client identities • Incentivises new business opportunities by offering its services as part of insurance bundle packages
Departments involved The resources supporting the development and positioning of his product include R&D, Programming, IT Security, Software Development, Data administration, Customer Success, New Product Introduction, Finance and Business Development team.
Results: In February 2024, we launched with Buckler México and Ethics Data Analytics – a leader in risk management solutions in the region. We are also in the closing stages of forming strategic alliance in 2025 with a global leader in the sector that will deliver a distribution shift in terms of scale and size and offer our product solution across 28 markets. We also serve the following clients: Anadolu Sigorta, SBI Card, Kotak, Deniz Bank, Provinzial, Bajaj FinServ, Zeus, LIC Cards, YES Bank, Bavaria Direkt, RBL Bank, ICICI Bank and more.
