Concept and objectives Qover's embedded insurance orchestration platform reimagines how protection reaches customers by seamlessly integrating insurance into everyday experiences. Our modular, API-first platform enables any business – from digital banks to automotive brands – to embed insurance as a natural part of their offering, exactly when and where customers need it.
Rather than forcing customers to hunt for coverage through traditional channels, we bring insurance into the ecosystems they already use. Whether it's travel protection in a banking app, device insurance with a mobile plan, or motor coverage when buying a car, we make insurance feel less like a transaction and more like protection that's simply there when it matters.
We enable all of this for any country, any product, any partner and with any risk carrier. This is part of the modularity of our platform.
Reasons behind Traditional insurance distribution is stuck in the past – bogged down by legacy infrastructure, manual processes and disconnected experiences. Meanwhile, customers expect the same seamless, digital experiences they get everywhere else. The gap between what insurance offers and what people actually want keeps growing. We built our platform to close that gap. By orchestrating the full insurance lifecycle through technology, we help businesses launch and scale insurance programs across 32 European countries without the usual complexity. Our goal is simple: create a global safety net with insurance that empowers people to live life to the fullest.
State of competition While many insurtech players focus on single products or specific markets, Qover stands out through genuine orchestration. Our platform is product-agnostic, carrier-agnostic and built for multi-country scale. We work with 440+ brands and 12+ risk carriers – including major insurers like Zurich, AIG, Chubb and Helvetia – orchestrating coverage for millions of end users.
We're not competing with traditional insurers or brokers. Instead, we partner with them to modernise distribution. Think of us as the operating system that connects everyone in the insurance ecosystem – from distribution partners like Revolut, Monzo, ING and BMW to the carriers providing coverage.
Sources of inspiration We looked at how embedded finance transformed banking and payments, making financial services invisible yet accessible. Stripe made payments effortless for businesses. Plaid connected banks to apps. We asked: why can't insurance work the same way? The rise of digital ecosystems showed us that customers don't want to leave their favourite platforms to buy separate products. They want everything in one place. That insight drives everything we build – from our APIs to our white-label user flows to our AI-powered claims handling.
Departments involved Our platform is powered by cross-functional collaboration across technology, product, insurance services, legal and compliance, customer care and claims, sales and marketing. We operate with dedicated squads assigned to each partner program, ensuring expertise flows from configuration through to customer support.
