AIB eMortgage - AIB has launched the first straight through digitised end-to-end eMortgage proposition to the Irish Market.
It is unique to the Irish Market, i.e. no other financial institution offers their customer the opportunity to complete a full application online, obtain full mortgage approval online and upload supporting documentation online. No need for traditional wet signature and Online Application trakcing makes the process slick and unparrelled in the Irish market
Uniqueness of the project
AIB eMortgage - AIB has launched the first straight through digitised end-to-end eMortgage proposition to the Irish Market.
It is unique to the Irish Market, i.e. no other financial institution offers their customer the opportunity to complete a full application online, obtain full mortgage approval online and upload supporting documentation online.
The AIB eMortgage proposition offers customers the opportunity to complete a full Mortgage Application online and receive mortgage approval online.
The 1st stage of the process is for the customer to log on to AIB.ie/Mortgages/Calculator and to key in some basic personal, financial and property information in the AIB eMortgage Calculator.
The customer will receive an Approval in Principle and has the choice to “Apply Online”
The customer will be presented with a Registration screen and can them log in and complete a full eMortgage application within their secure Mortgage Portal.
Following the completion of their application form and accepting our Terms & Conditions AIB offers the customer a Sanction in Principle online within seconds.
The customer can view and print this Sanction in Principle letter within the Online Portal. All supporting documentation can be provided electronically to AIB, by uploading document images in their secure eMortgage Portal.
When all supporting documentation is received, AIB will provide a Full Online Sanction electronically to the customer.
The eMortgage online application has been available to customers wishing to take a mortgage with AIB since December 10th 2013.
The eMortgage product was delivered to remove cost from the traditional branch and telephone channels while also creating a new revenue stream for the organization.
