About

The Virtual Reality training platform developed by CA-TS offers a solution that enables Crédit Agricole Regional Banks and IFCAM (the university of Crédit Agricole Group), to easily and independently create, share, and distribute VR-based training scenarios using 360° videos and artificial intelligence for scenarios with voice interaction.

Innovation presentation

The training sector is living a digital transformation, and virtual reality (VR) is emerging as a solution to solve several known issues such as employee available time for training, information retention management, manage costs, employee motivation.

Crédit Agricole Ile de France has sponsored an initiative in the course of an internal open innovation process called CR-Thon, leading to a successful experimentation project.

The experimentation is a custom-made VR platform by CA-TS (Crédit Agricole Technologies et Services) that enables regional banks and IFCAM, the university of Crédit Agricole Group, to independently create, share, and distribute VR-based training scenarios using 360° videos and AI for scenarios with voice interaction.

VR training is complementary to existing methods and offers unique benefits. It provides immersion, realism, and the ability to experiment daily situations that are not possible with standards training programs. Trainees can live realistic scenarios and practice their skills in a safe and controlled environment, which can significantly reduce training costs by eliminating the need for expensive physical equipment and venues.

Since its launch in early 2021, the solution has been adopted by 13 Regional Banks as a new training format for their employees, and the catalog has today more than 40 available training scenarios.

Uniqueness of the project

Our innovative approach to training, utilizing Virtual Reality, help us to position us as a leader in the market. This disruptive innovation provides proven benefits to our employees, enhancing their soft skills and enabling them to deliver better client service, consistent with our motto of being "100% digital, 100% human".

At Credit Agricole, we are proud to be one of the only banks that have implemented this new format of training in an industrialized manner. Our custom-made and internal (integrated to our Information System) solution adds a unique value proposition and differentiating factor.

By embracing this innovation, we are delivering a superior training experience to our employees, staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly-evolving market. We believe that this disruptive innovation will continue to strengthen our position as a leader in innovative solutions, helping us to achieve our business objectives and meet the needs of our customers and employees.
