We leveraged our existing customer base from the NGC community (approx. 80,000 users) and invited them to explore the Nedbank Village. Whilst in the Nedbank Village they would be able to interact with a Non-Playable Character (NPC) help-bot and other entrants via voice and text chat. It was an exclusive offering aimed at the existing NGC fan base, with 21 hours of live exclusive content being streamed into the Nedbank Village, attracting the attention of NGC fans who couldn't make it to the live event. We defined a clear customer journey which we tracked and monitored for drop off points, this was done so that we could understand how much friction a Web3 user would undertake from entering a Metaverse through to creating and/or connecting a compatible Web3 wallet to be awarded NFTs (Nedbank customers only) which they won by playing a game in the Nedbank Village.
