Prior to starting Foxquilt, our Co-Founders, Mark Morissette and Karim Jamal, had previous lives in insurance where they first recognized the problem they would be inspired to solve. Even with access to almost 300,000 small business insurance providers, they found they could rarely access customized insurance solutions for their clients at a fair value. From there, they dedicated Foxquilt and Foxden, its underwriting platform, to build technology and products that would empower every different kind of business with the ability to tailor their own a-la-carte product at a fair value and price in minutes.

Built by our in-house tech and product team, Foxden is Foxquilt’s proprietary full-stack, end-to-end insurance platform. Foxquilt has a complete line of our own commercial insurance products in the United States and Canada, over 800 products servicing contractors, eCommerce, and personal service professions. Foxden allows consumers, agents, and brokers to quote, purchase, and receive policy documents online in minutes, whenever and wherever they want.

By utilizing a cloud-native flexible platform, low-code configuration, and live data, Foxquilt can make business decisions and rate adjustments in real time and alongside real-world economy - reducing the time it takes to produce results for partners, consumers, and our internal team of producers.

Additionally, our back-end leverages a multi-ISO rating engine and AI data enabled product configuration to automate profitable underwriting. Foxden can do the work of customizing a modern contractor insurance policy for business owners, agents, and brokers - online and instantly.
