Project Description: One Tree Per Employee Initiative

Concept and Objectives: Our "One Tree Per Employee" initiative aims to plant a tree for each employee, symbolizing our commitment to environmental sustainability. The primary objectives are to enhance carbon sequestration, conserve biodiversity, and promote agroforestry and urban forestry.

Reasons Behind: The initiative was launched to combat climate change, improve air quality, and support local ecosystems. By planting trees, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a greener planet.

State of Competition: While many organizations have tree-planting programs, our initiative stands out due to its scale and integration with employee engagement. Planting over 10,500 trees showcases our dedication and sets a benchmark in corporate environmental responsibility.

Sources of Inspiration: Inspired by global and local reforestation efforts and the urgent need for climate action, we drew motivation from successful environmental campaigns and the positive impact of trees on ecosystems and communities.

Departments Involved: The initiative involves collaboration across multiple departments, including Sustainability, Human Resources, Operations, IT, Finance, Corporate Legal and other. This cross-functional effort ensures comprehensive planning and execution.
