Innovation presentation
1. Concept & Objectives
The project ensures that high‑value pension transfer transactions are executed securely through strong ecosystem integrations. CloudX DTP modernizes BES transfer processes by migrating legacy AS400 functions to a Java‑based, service‑oriented architecture, enabling full end‑to‑end automation, reduced operational risk, and a scalable, modular platform.
2. Reasons Behind
Due to the financial magnitude and critical nature of BES transfer operations, the AS400 environment’s manual workflows, limited integration capability, and error‑prone structure created operational and compliance risks. Growing regulatory expectations and the need for secure, accurate, and fast transaction handling made an integrated transformation essential.
3. State of Competition
CloudX differentiates itself by securely managing high‑value transfer operations through full PMC and Custody Bank integration. No other platform in Turkey provides an end‑to‑end, modular, company‑agnostic infrastructure with this level of integration depth and operational reliability.
4. Sources of Inspiration
The project was inspired by microservices architecture, API‑driven integrations, automation‑focused process design, and global insurance transformation frameworks. Regulatory requirements and user experience needs also shaped the solution.
5. Departments Involved
The initiative involved IT development, architecture, testing, business analysis, operations, BES transfer units, and accounting teams. PMC and Custody Bank participated as external stakeholders.
