The restructuring of the LEX legal system addressed historical challenges related to low evolution capacity, long response times to business demands, and strong dependence on manual operational processes - especially in the management of judicial guarantees and the calculation of insurance guarantee premium payments.
The initiative involved system and architectural modernization, combined with the adoption of a new agile work model (Scrum). Legal managers and users began acting as active Product Owners, directly participating in backlog prioritization, continuous delivery validation, prototyping, and defining the value of solutions.
This combination of technological transformation and a new way of working accelerated delivery cycles, increased predictability, improved solution quality, and generated concrete operational efficiency gains, even amid new technologies and multiple simultaneous evolution fronts of the legal system.
