Innovation presentation
ThIA brings disruptive innovation to a saturated, slow, and fragmented mental health system. In France, 13 million people suffer psychologically, including 3 million who are followed in psychiatry, mostly in cities; However, access is extremely slow: 67 days of waiting on average for a psychiatrist. Care remains ineffective: 56.6% of consultations are irrelevant, coordination between psychiatrists and psychologists is almost non-existent, and less than 10% of patients benefit from coordinated support.
This lack of structure leads to major relapses (50%), a societal cost estimated at €100 billion/year, and the exhaustion of practitioners, 50% of whom are suffering.
ThIA invents a new model of care : a digital medical device centered on a coordinated psychiatrist-psychologist pairing, structured, equipped and scientifically aligned with the recommendations of "collaborative care".
ThIA allows you to get a first appointment within 15 days via Doctolib, thanks to a coordinated network and a standardized protocol. Patients benefit from a short course (4 to 5 sessions over 4 months), including: a digital pre-diagnosis assessment, a systematic double consultation with a psychologist and then a psychiatrist, a personalized care plan, self-assessment tools, and remote monitoring over two years to prevent relapses. The results are already conclusive: 58% reduction in work stoppages, 38% decrease in the prescription of anxiolytics, and a median satisfaction of 8/10 on a sample of 3,791 patients.
This innovation is based on a proprietary technology platform, compliant with ISO 13485 standards, CE Class I marking, HDS-certified (Health Data Hosting certified), and designed with a network of practitioners. ThIA offers a modular architecture, pre-consultation, real-time coordination, digital MDM – Multidisciplinary Meeting modules, and a remote monitoring module in the process of CE 2b certification.
This approach is the first digital mental health monitoring medical device for depression, integrating real-time monitoring, automated alerts, psychoeducation and visualization of treatment phases. The clinical study starts in 2025, with a planned registration in the PECAN system in 2026, a CE 2b mark in mid-2027 and reimbursement under common law in 2027.
ThIA thus represents a paradigm shift : a coordinated, rapid, measurable, patient-centred and sustainably structuring healthcare system for public, private and insurance players
