MicroBank launches MicroBank Academy to empower entrepreneurs with Google courses

MicroBank, CaixaBank's social bank, has introduced MicroBank Academy, an initiative aimed at empowering entrepreneurs with comprehensive training. This platform offers free access to Google Actívate courses, covering essential topics like digital skills, business plans, sales strategies, and communication.

The curriculum caters to entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey, providing targeted resources for startups, growth, and consolidation. Informed by insights from a study involving over 500 surveys and interviews, the training is tailored to meet real-world needs, ensuring relevance and impact.

MicroBank's commitment to financial inclusion is evident in its provision of free courses to all, irrespective of banking affiliation, fostering societal empowerment and economic resilience. This initiative aligns with CaixaBank's Strategic Plan, prioritizing financial inclusion and socio-economic development.

As the sole shareholder of MicroBank, CaixaBank supports its outreach efforts through its extensive commercial network, ensuring widespread access to MicroBank's suite of products and services. MicroBank collaborates with over 270 entities across Spain to facilitate microcredit disbursement, providing borrowers with knowledge and ongoing project support.

Partnering with leading European institutions like the European Investment Fund, MicroBank drives entrepreneurship and microfinance initiatives, amplifying its impact on economic empowerment and societal progress. Through MicroBank Academy, the bank continues its mission of equipping entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge for sustainable business success.
