Jim Tedford, President and CEO of AAWA, expressed gratitude for the collaboration, highlighting its importance in finding solutions for pet owners and animal welfare organizations.
MetLife Pet Insurance is also sponsoring the Golden Beagle Award, honoring innovative efforts in finding homes for larger breed dogs. The recipient will receive $20,000 to further their work.
Jorgensen reaffirmed MetLife's dedication to supporting homeless pets, stressing the significance of recognizing organizations making a difference in their communities.
