Personalized banking at its core

At the heart of Lunar’s update is a customizable home screen, allowing users to pin accounts and add data-rich widgets for instant access to the financial information most relevant to them. From monitoring savings to tracking investments, these tools cater to individual financial goals. Lunar’s enhanced Wallet feature integrates accounts, cards, goals, and SAS EuroBonus points into a unified, intuitive view, complete with drag-and-drop transfer functionality for seamless money management.

A smarter, sleeker financial experience

The update also includes a redesigned interface with dynamic 3D visuals, refined typography, and a modern color palette. Users can now personalize account designs by adding wallpapers or, soon, collaborating with Lunar’s AI Assistant for unique visuals. Business users benefit from improved insights into spending, incoming funds, and cash flow, aligning the consumer and business banking experiences.

Christina Vestergaard, Lunar’s Chief Product Officer, emphasized the app’s transformative vision: “This update isn’t just about improving functionality—it’s about redefining how people connect with their finances. We’re giving users unparalleled control, flexibility, and creativity to personalize their banking experience.”

Promising early results

The impact of Lunar 5.0 is already evident. The average revenue per user (ARPU) has risen by 12% for new users within 30 days, while connected accounts from other banks have increased by 26%. Adoption of SAS EuroBonus points has grown by 18%.

With its innovative features and user-first approach, Lunar 5.0 positions itself as a game-changer in digital banking, offering customers a smarter, more personalized way to manage their finances.
