At work with Xavier Gomez

Xavier Gomez is the co-founder and chief operating officer (COO) of INVYO. He spoke to Efma’s Boris Plantier about his life and work.

Tell me a little about your background

I started with an internship at ING group where I was surrounded by sales people and traders.  I’ve been in the finance industry for over 18 years, having gained vast experience as a head of trading and investment consulting. I am now the co-founder and COO of INVYO, a software-as-a-service company focused on business intelligence in the fintech and finance industry.

Throughout my career I have spent time in Geneva, London, Paris and Zurich due to my roles in Credit Suisse and Pictet. I have a master’s degree in management and finance from ISC Paris and I am passionate about enriching my knowledge. This is what provoked me to further educate myself in fintech by doing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Fintech Certificate in 2016 and the HEC Paris Executive program on Leadership in Private Equity in 2017. I have also spoken at several fintech and insurtech summits, conferences and events around the world.
