Please tell me a little about your background.
I'm an Australian living in New York. I left Australia in 1999 and first went to Hong Kong for almost seven years, then Dubai for five, before settling in New York in late 2010. I went to Melbourne High School in Australia before graduating and taking up computing. I started my career as a programmer, and worked my way up through an executive path, utilizing the ability to communicate effectively between business and technology teams. In 2009 I wrote my first book: ‘Bank 2.0: How Customer Behaviour and Technology Will Change the Future of Financial Services’. It was a bestseller in the banking industry and launched my latest career as a futurist and thought leader.
