14/01/2015 Study

Banks worldwide are looking to improve their digital capabilities: from delivering omni-channel experiences, to one-click straight-through-processing to enhanced app suites and customer tools - change seems necessary in almost any part of the banking value-chain. However, banks are not clear about how to best approach this challenging journey. Where to start, with whom to partner and when to deliver are just a few open issues that are still to be resolved. The study conducted by A.T. Kearney and Efma is designed as a snapshot of different approaches in the banking industry: describing how banks and non-banks are tackling digitization and sketching required capacities and skill sets to succeed. For this, in-depths interviews with leading practitioners globally will be conducted. The results of this study will be presented at the 42nd Efma congress in Paris in October 2014 with the study being released shortly after. We hope that our findings will provide readers with insightful and thought-provoking perspectives on how to navigate their way towards a more digital future.
