In the event of an accident or breakdown, customers with the “e-depann’” service receive a text message informing them of the timeframe for intervention by their breakdown vehicle and they can monitor its progress in real time on their smartphone. This innovation has been created to enable customers to: - Be better informed while waiting for their breakdown vehicle because they know exactly when it will arrive (in the event of delays, customers receive a new text message with the new estimated time) - Receive assurances that their request has effectively been taken into account, because they can track their breakdown vehicle on a map and check at any time that it is on its way to their location This innovation is inspired by the geolocation and tracking systems offered by transport firms (Uber, Taxis G7, etc.). Today, nearly 50% of breakdowns benefit from the “e-depann’” service (system currently being rolled out).
