About
La Banque Postale will offer services and support, through people working in postal branches, so as to develop digital use of banking services.
Innovation presentation
La Banque Postale, the French Post Bank, has launched a global digital inclusion program aiming at offering such services to all its customers (ie. 10 millions).
In France, around 5 million people are in a situation of financial and/or digital precariousness and digitalisation of banking uses growing. By the Plan for banking inclusion by digital technology, La Banque Postale wishes to take up the challenges linked to the digital transition and the opportunities it can give to the highest possible number of people.
La Banque Postale keeps improving the digital accessibility of its offer for clients and prospects, whatever their situation. The plan will offer three ranges of action. La Banque Postale will rely on the teams of La Poste’s network and on a social stakeholder, and digital specialist, WeTechCare, organisation created by Emmaüs Connect.
This program will enable to identify the customers' digital ability (among 3 levels: non digital usage, customers requiring strong support to use digital services and customers requiring light support to use these services).
Uniqueness of the project
This Program is unique because:
- It is designed with a NGO devoted to digital services in France, WeTechCare
- It will involves staff in postal branches
- It has been designed for a volume-driven activity (millions of customers)
