Digital Change Agents of Villages project aims to define the social network of villages with the help of sociology and social anthropology to determine best service/channel/education model including all participants in a village.
Innovation presentation
We belive transforming agricultural into a modern, technology based and more profitable business is the most important solution to eliminate social and economical problems in rural areas of Turkey. So, we have released a Digital Platform named “Deniz’den Toprağa” (Agricultural Intelligence App) containing Facebook page, Instagram account, mobile application and web site.
Especially mobile application has features to provide optimization of agricultural input usage and reduce costs while boosting the productivity of a land. To increase the effective use of mobile app we have decided to create “Digital Change Agents of Villages” all around the country. We designed an approach method and service model for our “agents” to inform, develop and lead/direct the digital transformation process of agricultural production in rural areas.
Uniqueness of the project
DenizBank is the market leader of agri banking among private banks in Turkey. This project is a close indicator of how we achieved this by always putting the customers’ needs first and always taking the first towards for better products and experience.
This project is a market first for Turkey. Digitalization is a buzzword that is being thrown around for nearly every industry including banking services; however, digitalization of agricultural banking is a first.
This digitalization has started with our agri cultural intelligence app, and now we are taking the next step to further help our customers to use our app to their advantage and increase their efficiency, cut costs and increase their profits.
