KBC All-in-one Mobility Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2019 - Winner

We aim to make our customers'live as easy as possible and position KBC Mobile as an all-in-one app for mobility requirements. Working together with Q-Park fits in with the broader range of mobility solutions that KBC intends to offer through KBC Mobile. Our customers can easily arrange their transport using KBC Mobile, i.e. buy tickets for the bus, tram or train, pay for parking, and rent a shared bike from different providers. Highly convenient and all with just one app. Our KBC Mobile app now lets you park at Q-Park car parks without a ticket. All you have to do is link your number plate to the app. It's as simple as that. Number plate recognition ensures that the car park barrier opens automatically when you drive in and out. When you exit the car park, you also pay for your parking time right from your KBC current account. You even have the option of receiving notification that payment was made. The source of inspiration is WeChat and our customers too: they indicated in customer surveys that they would like payment convenience for mobility requirements to be integrated into KBC Mobile as an additional service.
