Enterprise Architect Governance Platform Qorus Banking Innovation Awards 2021

Our aim with our project is to create a governance model that enables the evaluation of the impact of the work to be done within the organization, to the strategy, process, business activities carried out by the business units and the assets managed by the IT teams. The first initiative created in this context was to create the Institutional Architecture Governance Model within the institution. With the Enterprise Architecture Governance initiative; Architectural impact analyses, activity-based maturity assessments and architectural design activities/works for targets were implemented by ensuring the management and association of information assets in the fields of business, application, data, technology and infrastructure architecture under a single roof. In line with its vision of “Growing with Technology”, Vakıf Katılım aims to be a reference institution in the banking sector in the field of Digital Transformation and Governance. It works to increase digital and analytical maturity within the institution by keeping its technology infrastructure strong and up-to-date. In recent years, competition in the banking sector in Turkey has increased more than in previous years. With the developing technology, offering more technology-oriented, fast and reliable services and products than classical banking services has become the most important criteria in terms of competition. In this respect, one of our bank's basic principles is to respond quickly and effectively to the ever-increasing and changing customer needs. In this context, both technology transformations within the bank and business transformations must be planned, scaled and analyzed effectively. We created the “VK EAGF” (Foundation Participation Enterprise Architecture Governance Framework) governance model in order to meet the emerging need within our bank. Thanks to this model, we created the Digital Twin of our bank by integrating with many processes within the Institution.
