Considering the 21 Million cardholder base, LANDBANK has the highest ATM to cardholder base ratio among the top banks in the Philippines which is at 1:8,360.
The integration with PAPI aims to enable Automated Teller Machine (ATM) co-branding agreement for the ATMs installed in 7-eleven stores. This will enhance the Bank's customer experience by expanding the Bank's ATM touch points to attain the 1:2,500 ATMs to achieve cardholder's ratio.
This will also lead to cost saving the the installation and operation of ATMs as well as the operational costs for underutilized. ATMs since the Bank will only have to pay PAPI for every transaction. Through this, the Bank is able to provide free ATM withdrawals especially to the prioritized sector (e.g. conditional cash transfer 4Ps beneficiaries, etc.), using PAPI ATMs in high foot traffic areas.
The actual ROI of 307% surpassed the projection of 13.84% while actual payback period was better at four (4) months from the projected six (6) months.
