Cash remains an essential part of daily commerce despite the rise of digital payments. However, managing cash well is complex – from forecasting demand to transporting and replenishing ATMs. DBS recognised this early and made cash management a strategic priority. DBS invested heavily to build a strong CIT fleet and ATM network. We optimised routes and rebalancing to improve efficiency. As demand fluctuated over the years, DBS leveraged data and analytics to enhance forecasting and allocation. Behind the scenes, our operations teams work tirelessly to ensure seamless cash availability. We have control tower capabilities using historical data for predictive analytics. This allows us to identify and manage cash level proactively.
