Document Processing AI-PIs Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards 2019

The goal of this innovation is to automate manual processes using AI. The reasons for implementing the project stem from a desire to simplify a process that was both complex and costly with a high operational risk. As the company has an extremely large portfolio of policyholders, this project allows us to improve the customer approach. In terms of competition, this programm with its level of maturity, its high accuracy and its high level transversal skills (Data Scientist & DevSecOps) is very innovative in the insurance industry. This project was inspired by the evolution of IT technologies and digitalization. It was created within the R&Data Lab department of CNP assurances in collaboration with DevOps of Digital Factory department and has as its main result (actually) an automation of the average death process by 90%. This represents around 50 000 death people per year and close of 1 000 000 of documents.
