Nippon Life has developed a new tablet called "TASKALL" for its 50,000 Sales Representatives that is equipped with cutting-edge technology including AI. For example, AI analyzes the successful experience and activities of the entire Sales Force and indicates selected target from the list of thousands of prospective customers, and suggested actitivies which are more likely to lead to successful results to each user. It's provided in a user-friendly way. The concept is to supplement and enhance both the quality of sales activities of the Sales Reps and the Customer Service level. Prior to the launch of TASKALL in April 2019, sales activities were mainly based on instructions given by the Head Office, which was largely dependent on seasoned veteran Sales Reps' personal skills and up to the discretion of each Sales Manager at the field. By introducing TASKALL, activities by Sales Reps toward recommended customer target has increased from 51% to 93%; this has led to dramatic increase in closing ratio from 13% to 24%. We feel that this preliminary result will further bring forth additional new business as well as further increase in customer satisfaction, as a result of collaboration between Sales Reps' "human" skills and AI.
