The 2024 rebranding project of Banca Widiba was conceived as a strategic repositioning initiative aimed at evolving the bank’s image from a “young digital bank” to a “bank of excellence in financial advisory.” The objective was to align the brand with a more affluent and sophisticated clientele, while reinforcing Banca Widiba’s core values of innovation, simplicity, and customer proximity. The initiative responded to a business need to refine the commercial target and enhance the visibility of Widiba’s high-value services, particularly in wealth management and certified financial advisory. The project stands out in the Italian banking landscape by adopting a brand language inspired by the luxury sector, rather than traditional financial institutions. The visual and strategic elements were influenced by premium lifestyle introducing a more elegant and aspirational tone. The project was led by the Communication and Brand team, in collaboration with Commercial, Financial Advisory, and IT departments, with strategic oversight from the Executive Committee. The new identity was launched during the Bank’s 10th anniversary Convention and supported by a national multimedia campaign. It has already improved brand perception, customer engagement, and internal alignment.
