Innovation presentation

DeliverX was designed as a large-scale digital communication transformation initiative aligned with AgeSA’s ESG and Green IT vision. The core objective was to modernize and centralize the management of over 100 million annual customer communications, while reducing environmental impact, operational costs, and service delays. We aimed to transform a fragmented, manual, and paper-heavy structure into a scalable, intelligent, and sustainable digital ecosystem.

The primary reason behind the initiative was the inefficiency of physical mail processes, high storage and maintenance costs of email attachments, lack of delivery traceability, and customer dissatisfaction caused by sequential queuing delays. Additionally, increasing ESG expectations and sustainability commitments required us to rethink communication processes not only from a cost perspective, but also from an environmental and social responsibility standpoint.

In a highly competitive insurance market where digital customer experience defines brand perception, DeliverX positioned AgeSA ahead of peers by combining operational excellence with measurable sustainability outcomes. Rather than treating ESG as a compliance requirement, we embedded it into core system architecture.

The inspiration came from observing the tangible environmental footprint of each physical document and recognizing the opportunity to leverage microservices, Kafka-based event streaming, and intelligent queuing to create both business and sustainability value.

The project involved IT, business units, customer experience teams, and external partners including Adesso Turkey and telecom integration providers. Cross-functional collaboration was key to its success.

So far, DeliverX has achieved ₺26 million in annual savings, reduced complaints by 90%, improved bulk delivery speed by 96%, prevented 43,000 kg of CO₂ emissions, saved 875 trees annually, and freed 4 FTEs for higher-value activities. Beyond metrics, it embedded sustainability into AgeSA’s technology DNA, establishing Green IT as a strategic priority.
