Why would an industry that is not entertainment-based invest so much in establishing a presence in the metaverse?

Imagin – the digital services and lifestyle platform backed by CaixaBank – was born as a digital community offering both financial services and lifestyle digital content, including music, video games, opportunities to purchase technology products, guidance on sustainability as well as financial advice. Therefore, it was a natural step to transfer the idea of a broader ecosystem centered on finance and digital devices to the metaverse in order to strengthen relationships with our members and enhance our digital offering. It is important to add, however, that we are not considering large investments, but selective and sensible ones in order to start exploring new trends in this new environment.
