Clara Tairraz is the Co-Founder and CMO of Sezame, a French proptech startup specialized in real estate leasing. We spoke with her about the development of this practice of leasing with an option to purchase, which could well compete in the long term with the traditional real estate loan.


What led to the creation of Sezame?

A single observation: the difficulties encountered by individuals in their project to access property. In particular when faced with real estate loans that are increasingly complicated to obtain. And because becoming a homeowner is important – a goal for some, the project of a lifetime for others – the three founders, driven by the desire to democratize access to homeownership, created Sezame to allow everyone to realize this dream.
