The grants provided through the tool do not impact welfare benefits and require no repayment. Finding and accessing these grants can be challenging, but the user-friendly tool simplifies the process. By following a few steps, users can assess their eligibility based on personal or family circumstances.
Recent data reveals that Virgin Money and Turn2us have assisted around 50,000 individuals in checking eligibility for welfare benefits and tax credits. Over the past two years, the partnership, which initially provided access to the charity's benefits calculator on the Virgin Money website, identified over £4.5 million in eligible benefits support.
