Andria Evripidou, Founder and CEO of XDA, tells us how she created the platform to meet the demand for a unified solution in the financial and gambling industries, outlines XDA's offerings of business accounts and crypto settlement, and hints at future plans, including potential white-labeling and global expansion.

What led to the creation of XDA?

As trivial as it may sound, it was the repeated demand for a service or a platform like the one offered by XDA. I have worked in the financial and gambling industry for many years and not a day went by where someone wouldn’t ask me why isn’t there one platform to support both the fiat and crypto settlement needs of companies in the gaming space. These companies spend a considerable amount of resources moving from one platform to the other, reconciling their fiat and crypto balances whilst at the same time being charged outrageous fees. Last but not least, they continue to be offboarded at a moment’s notice by their banking providers due to a wider lack of understanding of the industry. I knew I had the ingredients needed to develop a solution – if anything just to stop hearing about how great it would be if an institution like that existed – so together with a team of experts in the field we started XDA.

Could you present XDA's offer?

In a nutshell, XDA offers business accounts and crypto settlement for the gambling industry. We’ve tried to keep it simple and intuitive. Our ethos is about delivering a good and solid product. Above everything we want to ensure a stable risk appetite. So, if there are three key aspects to remember about XDA’s offer, I’d say: (a) business accounts with multiple currencies available, no transaction limits and swift transfers around the world, (b) an OTC desk for your crypto exchange needs, and (c) online trading 24/7 with direct settlement into the XDA business account. I also think it’s important to mention that due to the vast expertise of our team we don’t discriminate against any licenses – something that has discouraged many companies in the past from coming to the gaming market. So no matter where the company is incorporated or licensed, our team will review the application and based on its merits will make a decision.

What's coming next for XDA?

We are currently evaluating the possibility of white-labeling our platform. This will open up access to even more companies that are struggling with the existing constraints and hurdles in the market and would of course propel XDA to higher levels of growth. I can’t confirm any timelines but personally I feel that this will be a very exciting proposition to bring to the market. Further down the line, we will look into our global expansion plans and aim to establish a stronger presence in other underserved areas of the world.
