Allianz Partners has secured a partnership with NatWest Group, becoming the sole travel insurance provider for the entire NatWest family, including NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Ulster Bank. This collaboration, effective from February 2024, cements Allianz Partners as the UK's largest travel insurer.

The alliance is an extension of Allianz Partners' successful track record with Coutts, RBS International, and Isle of Man Bank within the NatWest Group. Having provided travel peace of mind to high net worth clients since 2018, the partnership now encompasses the entire NatWest Group, showcasing Allianz Partners' digital innovation and customer-centric approach.

Marcus Latchford, Chief Sales and Distribution Officer at Allianz Partners UK and Ireland, expressed delight in expanding the partnership, stating, "Our digital innovation combined with the ‘human touch’ has enabled us to broaden our share of the UK travel insurance market."

As the designated travel insurance provider for NatWest Group's packaged bank account customers, Allianz Partners will leverage its digital prowess through the Allianz Assistance hub. Integrated with the bank's online app, the hub will offer customers a seamless experience to manage insurance, purchase additional coverage, request assistance, and track claims.

Barry Connolly, Managing Director of Every Day Banking at NatWest Group, highlighted the importance of travel insurance for packaged account customers. He stated, "We're pleased to be working with a global, trusted partner to enhance the customer experience, giving them greater peace of mind."

Allianz Partners' travel insurance for NatWest Group customers is set to launch in February 2024, marking a significant milestone in reshaping the landscape of travel insurance services in the UK. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to exceptional insurance products and services, embedded within NatWest Group's offerings.
