Maybank simplifies digital retail investing with Goal-Based Investment

Maybank has launched the Maybank Goal-Based Investment, a user-friendly digital retail investment tool aimed at helping beginners and first-time investors start their financial journey conveniently. Available on the MAE App and Maybank2u Web, this new feature allows customers to pursue their financial goals seamlessly without the need for branch visits.

With Maybank Goal-Based Investment, customers can choose from a variety of investment funds to match their financial objectives. Starting with just a minimum investment of RM200, customers can invest in funds with low sales charges and no lock-in period.

Syed Ahmad Taufik Albar, Group CEO of Community Financial Services at Maybank, highlighted that the bank understands the challenges faced by new investors. Maybank Goal-Based Investment aims to eliminate these barriers by making investing accessible and affordable for everyone, offering a guided experience through digital banking platforms.

Customers can easily begin their investment journey by selecting their personal financial goals, aligned with their life aspirations such as retirement planning, children's education, or wealth accumulation.
