London-based insurtech company Flock has announced a strategic partnership with Admiral Pioneer, the venture-building business of Admiral Group. This collaboration aims to revolutionize fleet insurance in the UK by leveraging advanced technology and real-time risk management solutions.

This new partnership will enable Flock to broaden its services and support a wider array of fleet customers. The initial rollout will focus on courier fleets, business fleets such as those used by tradespeople and service vehicles, and short-term rental companies. Customers will be able to access the product directly through Flock or via their expanding network of trusted brokers. This expansion ensures that more fleets can benefit from Flock's cutting-edge solutions and Admiral Pioneer's insurance expertise.

One of the key benefits of this partnership is that Flock will continue to incentivize safer driving. Fleet customers who demonstrate improved safety throughout the policy period can receive premium rebates of up to 10%. All customers will also have access to Flock's real-time safety portals and regular safety reviews, providing actionable insights into fleet risks and helping implement effective safety practices.

Ed Leon Klinger, CEO of Flock, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Partnering with Admiral Pioneer is a pivotal moment for Flock. Admiral Pioneer's pricing, underwriting, and claims management capabilities perfectly complement Flock’s technological expertise and data-driven approach. Together, we are set to deliver a unique product that rewards safer driving and offers best-in-class insurance service.”

Admiral Pioneer is expanding its focus on commercial customers through this partnership with Flock. This move underscores Admiral Pioneer's commitment to innovation and providing cutting-edge B2B solutions. Emma Huntington, CEO of Admiral Pioneer, emphasized the strategic alignment, saying, “Admiral Group has always embraced innovation, and Admiral Pioneer is where we incubate new ventures that align with our diversification strategy. Our partnership with Flock allows us to offer a fresh fleet solution that meets the evolving needs of businesses.”

Both companies recognize the complexities of the fleet market, from managing diverse vehicle types to balancing safety with operational efficiency. Their combined strengths in data and technology, competitive pricing, and operational efficiency promise to deliver a superior solution to these challenges, leading to safer roads and more efficient fleet operations across the UK.
