Deutsche Bank is taking key steps to improve its advisory services and invest in digital technology for private clients in Germany. The bank is expanding its video and telephone consultation services, responding to increased customer demand for convenient, remote advice. These services will be offered nationwide, particularly for wealthier clients in private banking.
In addition to remote services, Deutsche Bank is upgrading its branches with modern ATMs and hosting more community events to engage with customers. It is also introducing private banking centers designed specifically for wealthier clients, while adjusting its branch network by closing a number of smaller locations. Despite these changes, the bank will maintain a nationwide branch presence and work with the Works Council on the transition.
A major focus of Deutsche Bank’s strategy is digitalization. By 2025, the bank plans to launch a fully modernized app with enhanced digital services, allowing clients to complete more basic banking tasks online. This will enable advisors to concentrate on personalized customer consultations, combining digital efficiency with tailored advice.
These initiatives align with Deutsche Bank’s long-term strategy for private clients and are designed to meet evolving customer needs while helping the bank achieve its cost targets.
