Unlocking business growth with data insights

This partnership focuses on utilizing de-identified customer and transactional data, aggregated through DataCo’s advanced data collaboration platform. Businesses can use these insights to perform targeted analyses, uncover spending patterns, and identify growth opportunities. Built in collaboration with ANZ and 1835i, the platform ensures compliance with strict privacy regulations while unlocking actionable insights.

Antony Strong, ANZ’s Group Executive for Strategy & Transformation, emphasized the platform's potential: “This unique capability connects data across organizations safely and compliantly, helping businesses gain valuable insights in regulated industries.”

A privacy-first approach to innovation

DataCo’s technology combines data from multiple sources into a secure, de-identified dataset, enabling actionable insights without compromising privacy. Danny Tyrrell, DataCo’s Chief Operating and Product Officer, highlighted the privacy-first approach: “Our platform respects and protects people’s data while empowering clients with growth-driving insights.”

Pilot programs have already demonstrated significant value for businesses, particularly in the retail and consumer goods sectors. Michael Bridgeman, DataCo’s Chief Customer Officer, noted, “Anonymized transaction data has brought immense value to our partners, and we’re excited to expand these benefits further.”

Driving lasting value through innovation

Originating in 1835i’s Innovation Lab, DataCo exemplifies the success of ANZ’s innovation ecosystem. 1835i CEO Justin Greenstein praised its journey, stating, “DataCo’s growth showcases our commitment to building partnerships that deliver meaningful, long-term value.”

This partnership reaffirms ANZ’s dedication to providing businesses with secure, data-driven tools, fostering innovation and supporting economic growth in Australia.
