Zurich Resilience Solutions, the advisory arm of Zurich Insurance Group, has introduced Climate Spotlight, an innovative digital tool designed to help businesses, municipalities, and public entities better understand and manage climate risks. This interactive platform uses advanced climate data to anticipate potential challenges and enable organizations to build long-term resilience.

Amar Rahman, Global Head of Climate & Sustainability Solutions at Zurich Resilience Solutions, emphasized the strategic value of understanding climate risks. “Climate Spotlight provides state-of-the-art data and analysis, empowering organizations to take informed action to safeguard their people and assets,” he said.

Core and expert solutions

Climate Spotlight offers two tailored products:

• Climate Spotlight Core: A self-serve dashboard enabling users to assess climate risks across up to 100 locations globally. It delivers quick, accessible insights into exposure levels.

• Climate Spotlight Expert: A customizable tool that includes metrics tailored to specific business needs, vulnerability data, and consultation with Zurich’s climate risk specialists. This version can analyze an unlimited number of sites.
Both tools offer insights into climate change scenarios through 2100, covering risks such as hazard evolution and materiality. They also align with regulatory frameworks, including CSRD and TCFD, ensuring the data can support compliance and reporting.

Supporting resilience and sustainability

Zurich’s launch of Climate Spotlight reflects its broader commitment to helping customers navigate the climate transition. By equipping organizations with actionable insights, the solution not only addresses strategic decision-making but also supports operational planning for greater resilience.

With Climate Spotlight, Zurich continues to lead in providing innovative tools to help entities worldwide adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
